KNX is a global standard for professional home and building automation. It is used so lighting, climate, shading, audio and other systems can be designed as one, in a home or in a building.
A single duration is not published, because it depends on the building and the systems involved. The schedule is set after consultation and design.
Depending on the project, the scope can include lighting, climate, curtains and blinds, audio and entertainment, and the controls that join them. Documented residential work has included lighting, dimming, curtains, air conditioning and scenes. The university auditorium brought audio and lighting under one control.
Each project includes design, integration and programming. Support after installation is agreed as part of that project, at handover.
